Rooted in personal history, my work explores identity, family, trauma, and place. I am drawn to subjects that honour ancestral memory and bring attention to overlooked histories. I create works that connect personal experience with broader human reflections.
I am a Toronto-based fine artist, originally from Trinidad. Self-taught and working in acrylic and oil, I began painting in 2024 after many years of drawing and a deep interest in storytelling.
While history grounds my work, the present and future possibilities for the human experience also guide my brush.
I tell stories through realism, impressionism and symbolism. Some techniques I use include portraiture, landscapes, still life, and pop art that reflect the complexity of the human experience in the multiverse.
I am a member of the Artists’ Network.
